About Mary Glaisyer

I discovered homeopathy when my daughter’s hay fever was considerably relieved by treatment from a homeopath.   I was so impressed that I enrolled in the part-time professional training course at the College of Homeopathy in London in 1982. I graduated from the college in 1986 and was accepted onto the register of the Society of Homeopaths in Great Britain in 1987.  I have since resigned from that register as I am no longer resident in England. I joined the Institute of Classical Homeopathy in New Zealand in 1991 – now superseded by the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths whose members use the designation R.C. Hom. At the 2011 AGM of the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths I was delighted and honoured to accept honorary life membership.

The basic principles of homeopathy never change but always there is more to learn and I have studied with many eminent homeopaths. I have been involved with the training of homeopaths here in New Zealand ever since I arrived here and set up practice in Nelson in 1988. I have had articles on homeopathy published in the NZ journals “ Homeopathy Newz “ and “Homeopathica”; in the American journal “ Homeopathy Today”; in the British journal “ The Homeopath”; and in the international journal “Links” and the on-line “Homeopathy 4 everyone.”

I am married with two grown-up children, three grandsons, and one grand daughter.
