I would like to recommend this very useful book:

Harnessing Hope
Take control of your life and master depression
By Jan Marsh

$20 + $2 postage and packing
Available from the author at 5,Examiner St., Nelson or online here

Jan Marsh is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years experience. In this book she answers the question, “ What is depression and what causes it?” and “ If I have depression, what can I do about it?”
And she recommends homeopathy.
“ If you would rather use a natural treatment try homeopathy ( see previous page) combined with the self-care programme outlined in Chapter Five.”
The previous page referred to recommends that you consult a homeopath registered with the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths and tells the reader why.
The book is only 68 pages long and this is one of its strengths. If you are suffering from depression your concentration may not be that good and a long book may be daunting. It is firmly aimed at the seeker after help and wow doesn’t it deliver. It is packed with easily understood information and many practical ways a person can help themselves. There is Dr. Guy Pettit”s “forgiveness exercise;” how to do a scheduling programme, and common sense advice on sleep, diet etc.
Jan has invented four characters suffering from depression and outlines their progress.
Such a device engages the reader and brings what could be a depressing subject in itself to life.
So do buy this book. If you are depressed you will find it invaluable. If you are a homeopath then it’s a great book to lend to clients.
